Dr. DuMont is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Homeotherapeutics, the Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy – CEDH the American Board of Medical Acupuncture. He has been a senior Lecturer for the CEDH the past 8 years. With his extensive experience in many areas of complementary/alternative medicine he has lectured nationally and internationally.
His formal training in Integrative medicine began with mind/body medicine at the Harvard Mind/Body Institute. Dr. Dumont then went on to receive formal training in other alternative modalities including medical hypnosis (American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the Society of Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics), acupuncture (UCLA Medical Acupuncture Program) with additional training in Korean Hand Acupuncture (a needle-free form of acupuncture), and homeopathy (American Institute of Homeopathy and the Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy – CEDH), and Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
